We're looking for an IT Director for a mid-sized trading company.
Your main mission will be to transform the IT department to a new maturity level, with a focus on standardization, reusability, and reliability.

- Lead the evaluation of buy-build decisions regarding IT solutions and technologies.
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks to ensure compliance, risk management, and security standards.
- Oversee the delivery of IT services, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes and drive innovation.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the IT department.
Job Requirements - IT Director
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial services, preferably trading, and demonstrate exceptional leadership in driving IT strategy, governance, and service delivery.
- Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical solutions and make sound recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams at all levels.
- Residency in the Netherlands is mandatory; an existing visa can be transferred.
