Financial Controller European HQ
A challenging opportunity for an experienced financial controller in a relatively new finance team where not everything is carved in stone yet. In this job you will play a role in centralizing and managing the financial processes and providing insights in the business with your reports and analysis. Also you will help to develop this finance department. That means that you have to build relationships with the European countries, standardize and automize things and have an entrepreneurial attitude.
Job Profile: Financial Controller European HQ
As a Financial Controller you will oversee a range of accounting activities, including financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, audit support, and compliance with regulatory standards (Local GAAP and US GAAP). You will report directly to the finance director and you'll work together with 3 other colleagues. Now that they are centralizing some tasks the team is slowly growing and you can help to develop the finance function.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze variances and trends in financial data and provide insights to support management decisions.
• Lead and coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Local Tax & VAT compliance (UK, DE, IT & FR)
• Discuss departmental P&L’s, variances, trends, concerns with Business
• Maintain and review the general ledger to ensure accurate classification of transactions.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of the company’s annual budget and periodic forecasts.
• Automate routine processes and enhance efficiencies in reporting and documentation.
• Support in ERP system migration project
Job Requirements: Financial Controller European HQ
• 5+ years experience as an sr. accountant or financial controller
• Experience with multiple international entities
• Experience with system migrations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English; French and/or German is a plus
Offer Financial Controller European HQ
Salary will depend on your experience but will be between 75k and 85k including holiday allowance based on 40 hours. Hybrid working, travel allowance, 25 holidays, pension contribution is fully paid by the organization.
