March 2025: De Plesman will open its doors in Scheveningen, The Hague. This brand-new hotel and restaurant concept is located in an iconic building where dunes, forest, city, and beach come together. With 100 hotel rooms, a Lobby/bar, Restaurant Suus, and a deli, this destination is set to become a culinary and hospitality hotspot.
What’s different? They’re bold and looking for someone to help evolve hospitality alongside them. The team is at the heart of the hotel, bringing unique perspectives that make it a truly special place. They want you to help ensure every guest leaves with a bright smile!
Independent Hospitality has been exclusively appointed to recruit the restaurant team. We are currently looking for a Breakfast Chef to join this exciting venture!
Responsibilities Breakfast Chef - De Plesman
What will you be doing?
- Preparing and presenting a variety of breakfast items, from classic favorites to innovative dishes;
- Ensuring mise-en-place is ready for a seamless breakfast service;
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen;
- Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins;
- Managing inventory and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and available.

What do you bring to the table?
- Previous experience in breakfast service or as a chef in a similar role;
- A love for early mornings and creating the perfect start to the day for guests;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills;
- Flexibility to work in the early hours (starting at 6 or 7 AM) and on weekends.
