March 2025, De Plesman will open its doors in Scheveningen, The Hague. This brand-new hotel and restaurant concept is located in an iconic building where dunes, forest, city, and beach come together. With 100 hotel rooms, a Lobby/bar, Restaurant Suus, and a deli, this destination is set to become a culinary and hospitality hotspot.

Independent Hospitality has been exclusively appointed to recruit the restaurant team, and we are currently looking for a Breakfast Waiter / Waitress to join this exciting venture.

De Plesman is based in a historic monument, and is currently transformed into a brand-new lifestyle hospitality concept. All the (wonderful - if we can say so) basics are there: an astonishing monumental building, a restaurant, a bar, a gym and meeting rooms. But de Plesman is not your regular hotel, we do things differently around here.

So.. what is different you ask? We are bold. We are looking for someone who wants to evolve hospitality together with us. We believe our team members are at the heart of our hotel and make it such a special place. We can’t do this alone though, and hence we are looking for you to make sure all of our guests leave with a bright smile.

 What will you be doing? 

• Make sure that the guest start their day with a smile;
• Ensure breakfast buffet items are refilled;
• Keep the breakfast area clean and tidy throughout service hours;
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and relay guest feedback;
• Support other food and beverage-related tasks as required;
• Provide excellent service to guests, addressing their needs and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere

Requirements Breakfast Waiter / Waitress

Small print: 

• You have experience in a similar role. You’ll be on top of our list if you gained this experience at a 4/5-star hotel.
• Flexibility to work morning shifts (starting 06:00 AM or 07:00 AM), including weekends and holidays 
• You speak English fluently  
• You preferably live in the vicinity of The Hague
