Temporary Operations Administration Officer
We are currently looking for an administrative professional to support our Trade Operations team at a leading international organization specializing in the global trade of agricultural products. In this interim position, you will play a pivotal role in managing and processing all shipping documentation, including collecting, consolidating, issuing, and dispatching key documents to clients and banks.
This will be a 6 month temporary contract and is not suitable for freelance professionals. Located in Rotterdam, this full-time position requires office-based presence, offering you the chance to contribute to a high-impact team in an exciting, fast-paced industry.

Responsibilities: Temporary Operations Administration Officer
In this role, your responsibilities will be to:
- Prepare Shipping Documents: Gather and prepare documents based on contracts, instructions, or letters of credit;
- Sort and Prioritize Information: Identify key details from large volumes of information for accurate document preparation;
- Assemble Document Sets: Combine required documents (e.g., Bills of Lading, quality reports, certificates) into complete sets;
- Send Documents to Clients & Banks: Finalize and dispatch complete document sets on time;
- Generate Supporting Documents: Prepare and issue additional documents (e.g., invoices, presentation letters);
- Maintain Documentation Records: Track and file issued documents, ensuring compliance and accuracy;
- Perform any other related ad hoc duties that might come with this position.
Requirements: Temporary Operations Administration Officer
- MBO4 level minimum with office support experience, preferably in logistics;
- Experience with word and excel required;
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Experience with document handling in a trading environment would be considered a plus;
- Fluent in English Required.
