March 2025: De Plesman will open its doors in Scheveningen, The Hague. This brand-new hotel and restaurant concept is located in an iconic building where dunes, forest, city, and beach come together. With 100 hotel rooms, a Lobby/bar, Restaurant Suus, and a deli, this destination is set to become a culinary and hospitality hotspot.

Independent Hospitality has been exclusively appointed to recruit the team of Restaurant Suus. We are currently looking for a F&B Supervisor to join this exciting venture!

Responsibilities F&B Supervisor - De Plesman Restaurant Suus

 What will you be doing? 

  • You will be responsible to manage the F&B team together with your colleague supervisors and the Restaurant Manager;
  • Maintain an exquisite guest service, and lead staff to do the same. Up-selling all menu items to maximize food & beverage revenue, and being able to resolve any guest compliment within a professional manner;
  • Additionally, you will be the one who will provide guidance, training and the right examples to motivate the team;
  • Accomplish change, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to achieve improvement.
  • Consistent achievement of the service standards and quality;
  • You follow all the safety and security policies and procedures of the company;
  • Complete opening and/or closing duties.

What will you bring to the table?

  • You have a kind knowledge of all F&B standards, service, and products. You’re able to demonstrate hygiene codes correctly and are able to show safe us of all materials/equipment;
  • Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays;
  • You speak English fluently;
  • You preferably live in the vicinity of The Hague.
