For an international retail organization I am seeking a Production Operations Coordinator in Amsterdam.

The Production Operations team is responsible for placing and managing the global purchase orders and ensuring timely deliveries. The team works in close collaboration with Product Development, Style Master Data team, Sourcing Hubs, vendors and Our Global Regional Markets.

Responsibilities Production Operations Coordinator (SAP) - Temporary

As a Production Operations Coordinator you will support the Merchandisers in all aspects of the daily business such as:

  • Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) for Seasonal & NOS buys;
  • Maintain AC Dates across all regions;
  • Assign PO attributes like priorities and themes;
  • Collaborate with vendors via VMS;
  • Prepare and share PO Placement overviews;
  • Generate weekly shipping reports for tracking deliveries;
  • Ensure timely factory shipments, monitor delays, and negotiate solutions;
  • Communicate with vendors and freight forwarders to update delivery timelines.

Requirements Production Operations Coordinator (SAP) - Temporary

The ideal candidate:

  • 1-3 years of work experience;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Ability to identify priorities;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & Adobe; excellent Excel skills (SAP FMS is a plus);
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
