Responsibilities : Demand Planning Specialist -FMCG
Your responsibilities are to create, monitor and improve the demand plan both for the operational (13 weeks) and the tactical (18-24 months) horizon in collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, and the supply planning department.
Understand the impact of business dynamics and translate them into the demand plan: New Product Development (NPD), phase-in/out, promotions, events, seasonality, tenders, contracts, and activations.
Monitor, analyze, understand, and challenge the quality of the enrichments provided by the commercial teams (assumptions, deltas, consumption, trends, issues, gaps, risks, opportunities) and provide advice at request or on your own initiative based on your expertise.
Manage the weekly and monthly demand review process as part of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle.
Manage any activities related to the constraining and allocation process and ensure the match of demand and supply.
Monitor and take initiatives to improve the Key Performance Indicators (KPI): forecast accuracy, forecast bias, service level, and waste.
Execute flawless analysis and set up/provide adequate reporting when necessary.
Align with supply points on availability and work continuously on improving the supply chain as a whole.
Manage management information: provide insights at request or on your own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments through periodic and ad hoc reports and/or analyses.
Jointly drive the translation of the supply chain strategy into a demand-specific roadmap. Implement roadmap projects and drive improvement initiatives based on priority.
Requirements : Demand Planning Specialist -FMCG
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years or Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant working experience (or equivalent);
- Knowledge and experience with forecasting and/or supply chain/logistics, preferably in an FMCG/Food environment;
- Knowledge and/or interest in statistics, modeling, and tools/systems is key;
- Knowledge of ERP systems (OMP or SAP APO), Power-BI, and Excel (advanced). Excellent communication and influencing skills;
- Ability to determine your message in different cultures and types of markets;
- Ability to challenge in a constructive way while maintaining the relationship;
- Excellent analytical skills and a results-driven mindset;
- Eager to continuously learn and improve;
- Full business proficiency in English and Dutch.
The Offer : Demand Planning Specialist -FMCG
Through our agency, you will receive a temporary contract for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
Salary indication for this role is around € 5700 gross per month based on a full-time workweek. Salary is based on education and experience;
