Responsibilities: Nutrition Professional for Patent Support Officer Role
Key Responsibilities
- ​Maintaining high-quality patent data and producing reports is part of managing the patent database. (while increasing one's understanding of IP, the global patent system, and market trends).
- Administrative and budgetary management of the Legal R&I and Patents departments.
- A comparison between market developments and patents.
- Describe the commercial environment; description of the team and department;
- Collaborating with colleagues in the Utrecht-based Patent team
- Working in a section with a specialized in nutrition.
- Establishing the administrative processes for the patent office, including a separate position for managing and maintaining the advanced patent data management system.
Key accountabilities
- Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date patent software system, which includes processing electronic mail in the patent management system.
- Creating reports from this system, and gathering signatures;
- Global conference planning (IT infrastructure);
- Keeping a journal and managing invoices;

Job Requirements
- Master Degree in Food Science / Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent and residing in the Utrecht region.
- A graduate with work or internship experience.
- Willingness to learn about the patent management and sophisticated software for managing patents.
- Proficiency with computers and reporting accuracy;
- Fluent in English ( both written and verbally ).
- Enthusiastic and love working in an international setting that is dynamic and complicated.
- Proactive and autonomous teamwork.
The Offer - Nutrition Professional for Patent Support Officer Role
This is a temporary position, with a possibility that the contract can be extended.
Gross monthly salary around €3150 (40 hours) with a short internal training within the company.
