We are looking for a motivated merchandising professional with 1-2 years of experience to join an international fashion brand in Amsterdam.

In this role, you will support the Footwear Product Merchandising team by managing samples, analyzing market trends, and ensuring accurate product data. You will work closely with the Design and Product Development teams to develop seasonal collections and assist in creating product presentations for key stakeholders.

This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, for at least 2 months.

Responsibilities Assistant Merchandiser (Footwear) - Temporary

In the role of Merchandiser you will focus on: 

• Assist in handling all activities related to product samples, including tracking and organizing;
• Ensure all product-related data (PLM, line lists) is accurately compiled and updated throughout key milestones;
• Research competitor landscapes, monitor product trends, and analyze price points to inform decision-making;
• Assist in creating seasonal product briefs aligned with sales targets, SKU productivity, and margin goals;
• Prepare product presentations, manage showroom sample lists, and participate in product reviews and seasonal shoots.

We are looking for:

• 1-2 years of experience in a merchandising team within a premium brand environment preferred;
• Strong product knowledge and interest in accessories, with awareness of key market players and trends;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills, with a team-oriented and hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment.
