We are seeking a Social Engagement Manager to join a global fashion brand based in Amsterdam!

Responsibilities Social Engagement Manager - Temporary

As a Social Engagement Manager you are responsible for the following tasks:

  • Develop and execute integrated PR plans across media and social channels for EMEA, including press, influencer, and social formats;
  • Act as main contact for select EMEA markets and agencies, ensuring high-quality support across communications;
  • Lead influence and social strategies in collaboration with marketing and consumer journey teams;
  • Propose innovative visibility tactics aligned with budget and brand strategy;
  • Manage digital product presentations tailored to each market in a modern, engaging way;
  • Oversee and optimize monthly influencer seeding activities;
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage vs KPI's;
  • Distribute global directives and assets to markets and agencies with clear guidance;
  • Organize one-on-one meetings with press and influencers to boost brand visibility;
  • Manage and support Comms Coordinator, overseeing social, influence, and reporting tasks including SEO and backlinking initiatives.

Requirements Social Engagement Manager - Temporary

We are looking for the following qualities:

  • University degree in marketing, economics, engineering, statistics, computer science, or related fields;
  • 3–5 years of experience in integrated communications (Fashion, Luxury, or FMCG); agency experience a plus;
  • Global or regional experience preferred;
  • Strong digital skills with understanding of key KPIs (e.g., EMV, engagement rate);
  • Proven project management across full lifecycle;
  • Willing and able to travel frequently (50%) across Europe and the US;
  • Well-connected with agencies, press, and influencers in pop culture across EMEA+;
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
