Responsibilities : Lead Specialist – Packaging Design & Specifications (TEMP)
In this role, you’ll support and help professionalize the packaging specification team. Based at the R&D center in Wageningen, you’ll ensure packaging data is accurate, complete, and aligned with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. You'll work closely with Packaging Development, RA, QA, Procurement, and Supplier Quality teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, improve, and further develop the ticketing system for specification requests

Define and implement a standardized way of working for handling customer requests

Support colleagues with day-to-day packaging specification tasks

Drive improvements in data quality, availability, and system usability

Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of specification processes

Requirements : Lead Specialist – Packaging Design & Specifications (TEMP)

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Packaging, Material Science, Food Tech, or similar;

3+ years’ experience in a packaging specs role, preferably in the food industry;

Project management experience;

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;

Hands-on, proactive, and organized way of working;

Experience with packaging spec systems (SAP PLM is a big plus);

Analytical mindset and affinity with data;
-
Technical background (e.g., chemistry, materials) is a plus;
-
Knowledge of food compliance is a nice-to-have;
-
Experience with process improvements is a bonus.
The Offer : Lead Specialist – Packaging Design & Specifications (TEMP)
Through our agency, you will receive a temporary contract until the end of the year.
The salary indication for this role is between €7500 - €8500 gross per month based on a full-time workweek. The salary is based on education and experience.
